Hull Rupture (v1.0.11)

Game Overview

Humanity’s last revenge weapon is less a sleek battleship than a desperate, expanding industrial deathtrap hurtling toward an alien world. Hull Rupture blends roguelite strategy, real-time defense, and grim resource management into a tense race where momentum matters more than comfort. Earth is already lost, and the Despot AI treats its remaining personnel as another expendable input for the engines. Its darkly comic attitude makes every awful choice feel deliberately cold-blooded rather than purely miserable.

Each run revolves around extending the ship with connected rooms that generate supplies, maintain vital systems, repair breaches, improve production, and keep the engines pushing forward. Alien attacks announce their breach points in advance, giving you time to reshape corridors, install turrets, traps, barriers, and automated weapons, then direct crew members to help contain the invasion. Expansion is never free: a useful new engine room or workshop can also open a fresh route for enemies to exploit, so layouts must balance efficiency with defensible chokepoints. Between assaults, route choices offer safer travel, valuable rewards, or ruthless solutions to shortages, while three ship types, six modes, and four difficulty settings encourage repeated attempts.

What makes Hull Rupture interesting is how closely its base-building and tower-defense layers feed into one another. The vessel grows piece by piece during a run, so a brilliant arrangement can turn invaders into target practice, while a careless addition can cause a cascading collapse of power, resources, and lives. Its branching decisions and deliberately disposable crew recall the cruel improvisation of FTL, while its modular defense planning has shades of a compact sci-fi factory builder. Players who enjoy stressful roguelites, optimization puzzles, and adapting plans under pressure should find plenty to chew on; newcomers can learn through lower difficulties, but veterans will get more from pushing unfamiliar hulls and riskier routes.

Setup Guide & Troubleshooting

How do I fix missing DLL errors for Hull Rupture (v1.0.11)?

After extracting Hull Rupture (v1.0.11), navigate to the _Redist or _CommonRedist folder inside the game directory and install DirectX, Vcredist, and any other dependencies included.

What should I do if the downloaded file is corrupted?

The full archive is 502.09 MB — make sure your download completed fully before extracting. Use 7-Zip to extract the files. If you still see a "file corrupted" error, re-download and try again.

Do I need to run the game as administrator?

Usually, no. Start the game normally from the extracted folder. If you see a permissions or save error, check that the folder is writable and follow the game's documented fix. Only grant administrator access when a trusted game's specific setup requires it.

How do I update my GPU drivers for this game?

Hull Rupture (v1.0.11) requires a GeForce GTX 670 / Radeon HD 7970 or equivalent. Update your NVIDIA or AMD drivers to the latest version for the best performance.

The game won't launch — what should I try?

Check that extraction completed and your PC meets the system requirements, including Version 11. Note any error message before choosing a fix. If it identifies a missing runtime, install the required DirectX components or Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft.

My antivirus is blocking the game — is it safe?

A warning needs to be investigated; the download source alone cannot confirm that a file is safe. Keep your security software enabled and review the detection details. Do not run or restore a flagged file unless you have verified that it is a false positive. If you are unsure, leave it quarantined.
